A summer party with a difference
Producing a vibrant, dual purpose event space
Lush Cosmetics approached us to help them host a two-day event, which included a high-profile party for their international managers. The brief was to create an event that complemented the Lush brand and provided a relaxed environment for colleagues to socialise in. We planned and delivered two events: a garden party and a summer neon ball. The first task was finding a suitable location for both events, which had to be near to the company’s offices and had to fit with the Lush ethos and brand.

Overcoming serious infrastructure logistics
During the early stages of the event planning, there were some serious infrastructure considerations. We were responsible for planning and managing both events – from organising toilet facilities and electricity stations to handling the health and safety throughout.
We hosted several client coordination meetings before starting the project. The first task was to deliver the 50m x 20m marquee structure to the site. The marquee was designed to be built around some of the walled gardens and flower beds, bringing the outside in and creating living walls throughout the internal event space.
Once the structure was complete, we only had eight hours to furnish and deliver the event – luckily, we work well under pressure!
A relaxed environment for everyone to enjoy
We filled the space with specialist catering facilities (vegetarian and vegan), furniture, sound and lighting equipment, and garden games, which included mini golf and giant board games. We also organised live entertainment in the form of our eye-catching Topiary Men and our Flower Pot People, who were there to meet and greet the guests.
The outcome was two vibrant events that complemented the brand’s personality and provided a fantastic setting for their internal teams to socialise and relax.
