Bringing Christmas in Bournemouth to life
Seventa Events were awarded a five year contract for the build and operation of Bournemouth Christmas Market in 2017, and we set about work on an impressive new market offering alongside Christmas Tree Wonderland.

A major feature for the Christmas Market is The Alpine Lodge Bar, a bespoke temporary structure we designed specifically for Bournemouth, and it is provided by our sister company Innovative Hire. The Alpine Lodge Bar is constructed utilising 4x 20ft and 40ft containers joined and topped by a marquee structure. The Alpine Bar has the capacity to host 180 downstairs, 100 upstairs and an additional 250 in its surrounding outdoor area. The structure also boasts two large bars as well as rustic, ski-themed furniture and decoration.
We handle all trader applications and management for the 40x chalet trading huts, including the installation of these units which are also provided by our sister company Innovative Hire.
Onsite operations are run by our team, including design, build, day to day management across the 49 days of trading and of course, taking it all back down again!

With local traders strongly encouraged the market really does provide a community atmosphere. The feedback has been astoundingly positive from suppliers, traders and guests to the Market. The local council has commented:
"Seventa Events won the contract over several other national providers in 2017 and have delivered three years of a vastly improved Christmas offering for Bournemouth. One of our focus points was to have a supplier that increased local traders, of which Seventa have done so. Local traders now include local businesses, arts & crafts traders, and local restaurants providing hot food stalls.
