The Brief

Carnival approached Seventa Events with a vision for a unique and memorable Christmas party that would deliver an Apres-ski experience for their 1,500 guests. The event needed to make full use of Southampton Football Club’s newly refurbished Fan Zone and concourse, creating a vibrant space that would bring the magic of the mountains to the south coast.

The Challenge

Our goal was to transform Southampton FC’s Fan Zone and concourse into one cohesive venue that could accommodate the scale of the event while maintaining the cosy, festive atmosphere of an Apres-ski party. Additionally, we needed to coordinate all elements of catering, entertainment, logistics, and theming to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

Venue Transformation

• Constructed a stunning stretch tent to seamlessly link the Fan Zone and concourse, creating one large, vibrant space.

• Styled the venue with Apres-ski elements, including a ski lift chair centerpiece, illuminated “APRES” letters, and an Alpine Lodge entranceway.

• Installed multiple photo points for guests to capture the magic of the evening.

Food & Drink

• Curated a menu of festive favorites, including traditional bratwurst, loaded fries, freshly made crepes, and a coffee van serving warm drinks.

• Strategically placed four bars across the venue to ensure fast service and minimal queues.

Entertainment

• Secured a lineup of live performers, including:

  • Love Soul Choir delivering soulful holiday classics.

  • Peter Cooley, an acoustic singer, providing a relaxed, melodic vibe.

  • Rewind, a live band, energising the crowd with dance-worthy hits.

• Added funfair-style games to bring a playful twist to the party.

Logistics

• Coordinated transportation, with coaches shuttling guests between Carnival House and the venue, ensuring stress-free arrivals and departures.
