5 Christmas Markets we can't wait to return for 2021

We know…not a Christmas blog in September, but after a year that saw the UK cancel Christmas we thought it was only right to get the countdown to Christmas started earlier!

So pass us the knitwear and pour yourself a hot chocolate as we countdown the 5 UK Christmas markets that we can’t wait to return!

  1. Bournemouth.

Ok, we’ll admit we’re a little bias on this one. Having operated the Christmas Market for the past 4 seasons, we can’t wait to be back on site as both Seventa Events & Innovative Hire and delivering almost 2 months of festive cheer to the heart of Bournemouth’s Christmas celebrations.

Back to bring the cheer this year, we have our signature two storey Alpine Bar ready to take centre stage in the town centre and on hand to  deliver all of your festive favourites such as mulled wine, ice cold lagers and hot drinks whilst Christmas anthems fill the air.

With the Alpine Lodge at it’s heart, the market continues to grow with over 30 independent traders ready to solve all your gift giving problems with an array of local produce and handmade gifts alongside mouth-watering food stalls from classic hog roasts and hot chocolates all the way to the iconic Yorkshire Wrap!

Lighting the way to the market the Christmas Tree Wonderland (www.christmastreewonderland.co.uk) returns with over 100 illuminations and their world famous 60ft walk through tree experience – the perfect excuse to grab those festive selfies. The fun doesn’t stop there as Bournemouth’s festive offering continues to expand with larger than ever before SKATE ice rink setting up camp in Bournemouth’s lower gardens – ideal for your pre or post market visits.

An immersive experience, you’ll find everything you need to crank up the festive spirit with a Santa’s Grotto, fairground rides, an ice rink and uniquely Celtic offerings such as their signature mulled Irn Bru! Make it a visit to remember by visiting during their New Years celebrations for Hogmanay street parties and firework displays.

5. Bristol

With news of Bath’s reduced festive offering, it falls on Bristol provide the South West’s Christmas market.  Head on down to Broadmead where you’ll find an array of traders selling seasonal delights, crafts and unique items, which are perfect for those hunting for that special Christmas gift.

Located in the very heart of Bristol City Centre, the Christmas market is home to over 50 unique stalls, as well as entertainment from the likes of Santa and reindeer visits in December. Visitors can enjoy heated seating, delicious drinks and live music in our Jäger Barn Bar, and also try their hand at the much-loved sport of curling for some competitive fun.

This is all underneath our glittering Christmas tree, which will be adorned with an array of delightful decorations, and spectacular lights that both welcome and guide you throughout our magical market.
