A tropical summer escape on Bournemouth seafront
Bringing a new beach club to life
In early July, we transformed a prime stretch of Bournemouth beach, beside the Pier, into Palm Beach Club: a Mediterranean-inspired destination designed for long summer days, sunset dinners and late-night celebrations.
From planning consent being granted to opening day, the full concept was delivered in just two weeks. Seventa led every element of the project, including the initial concept, branding, marketing, site build, operational planning, staffing and day-to-day delivery.

Built for days by the sea
A venue designed to change with the day
Palm was created to offer something Bournemouth had not seen before: a full beach club experience that moves naturally from breakfast and coffee by the sea into relaxed lunches, DJ-led afternoons, cocktails, dinner and evening events.
The site combined bookable beach beds and loungers with Palm’s distinctive beach dining domes, alongside generous unreserved seating across a large decked restaurant area. This gave visitors the freedom to drop in for a drink, settle in for the day or reserve a more private setting for a special occasion.
Behind the scenes, we worked closely with Innovative Hire to transport and install heavy-duty container bars, kitchens and operational infrastructure directly onto the beachfront, creating a fully serviced hospitality venue in an exceptionally challenging coastal location.
More than a beach bar
A summer programme made for Bournemouth
In its opening weeks alone, Palm became a lively new part of Bournemouth’s summer calendar. The venue has hosted morning run clubs, DJ sessions, late-evening dance parties and two proposals, proving its appeal as both an everyday beachside destination and a setting for standout moments.
With Firework Fridays, weekend events and a packed programme of food, drink and music, Palm has helped bring a new energy to the seafront throughout the summer season.
