Seventa Events are delighted to announce our co sponsorship of Julia's House' 'The Great Tail Trail'

More than 40 vibrant, 6ft high mermaid tail sculptures will grace landmarks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole starting April 2025. The colourful sculptures, which are 1.8m (6ft) high, will help raise funds for Julia’s House children’s hospice charity.

Laura Maidment, of@juliashousechildrenshospice, said: “We’ve especially chosen the mermaid tail sculpture as we have a mermaid suite at our Dorset hospice. It felt important to connect the trail directly to our care.” Each of the sculptures will be sponsored by local businesses and given its own unique design. Sponsors include ourselves, Norco and Bournemouth Water.

“Congratulations to the Julia's House Children's Hospices team, for the press launch of the Great Tail Trail last week. It was a touching event, especially Martin Edwards talk about all of the incredible work, that this amazing charity (that is only 8% gov funded by the way!) does on a day-in-day-out basis. We are proud to play our very small part with Seventa Events in helping make this Great Tail Trail happen. The real work is done by this incredible Charity team.” - Simon Brooks, Director, Seventa Events

Leader of@mybcpcouncil, Vikki Slade, said the trail would “create a wonderful tourist attraction. Having visited them [Julia’s House] on several occasions I know first-hand the inspirational work that they do to support seriously ill children and their families,” she said.
