Seventa Events Brings Apres-Themed Christmas Magic to Southampton FC with Carnival

This festive season, we had the privilege of teaming up with Carnival to design and execute a spectacular Apres-themed Christmas party for 1,500 guests at Southampton Football Club’s iconic venue.

The Venue Transformation

The party took place across Southampton FC’s newly developed Fan Zone and concourse. To create one cohesive, vibrant space, we constructed a stunning stretch tent that seamlessly linked the two areas. This provided a sheltered and stylish environment for guests to enjoy the festivities, rain or shine.

Transforming these spaces into the ultimate Apres party for Carnival was a fantastic challenge, and we couldn’t be happier with the results," said Rosie Mooney, Head of Events at Seventa Events.

The Apres Experience

We brought the magic of the mountains to the south coast with:

• A ski lift chair centrepiece for those picture-perfect moments.

• Illuminated “APRES” letters that set the festive mood.

• An Alpine Lodge entranceway, creating a warm and inviting vibe.

• Multiple photo points for guests to capture memories.

Food & Drink

What’s an Apres-themed party without amazing food and drink? Guests enjoyed:

• Traditional bratwurst served hot off the grill.

• Loaded fries with a variety of delicious toppings.

• Freshly made crepes.

• A coffee van serving warm drinks to keep the festive spirit alive.

With four bars strategically placed across the venue, everyone could enjoy their favorite festive tipples without a hitch.

Entertainment

The entertainment lineup ensured there was never a dull moment:

• Love Soul Choir wowed with soulful holiday classics.

• Peter Cooley, an acoustic singer, provided a chilled, melodic vibe.

• Rewind, a live band, had the crowd dancing into the night.

• Funfair-style games added a playful twist to the festivities.

Logistics Made Easy

To ensure a seamless experience, all guests were transported by coach, shuttling them between Carnival House and the venue. This stress-free solution let everyone focus on enjoying the festivities.
