Bournemouth Set to Host the World’s First Floating Music Festival – 'All At Sea'
This summer, Bournemouth will make waves on the global stage as it plays host to the world’s first floating music festival — ‘All At Sea’, a groundbreaking event set against the stunning backdrop of the south coast. Taking place from July 25th to 27th, this one-of-a-kind festival will see four stunning floating music arenas anchored just off Bournemouth, Boscombe, and Southbourne beaches, welcoming some of the world’s biggest music acts, all performing on the water.
Brought to life by local event specialists Seventa Events (the team behind Bournemouth’s beloved Christmas Market), ‘All At Sea’ promises a three-day celebration of music, arts, culture, and coastal life like nothing seen before. Alongside world-class music, the festival will feature beach sports tournaments, art installations, cultural events, and a handpicked selection of incredible food and drink vendors showcasing the best of the south coast.
Guests will have the choice of experiencing the festival from land or sea, with dedicated viewing zones along the beaches and special docking stations for those wanting to catch the action from their boats or paddleboards. Morning yoga sessions, family-friendly entertainment, and interactive arts experiences will run daily, building up to sunset performances from headline artists and finishing each night with a world-class fireworks and drone show lighting up the coast.
Simon Brooks, CEO of Seventa Events, commented: "We’re incredibly proud to call Bournemouth home and to be bringing this ambitious project to life. 'All At Sea' is about showcasing our incredible slice of the south coast to the world — making Bournemouth not just a bright spot in the British summer, but a must-visit destination for international audiences too. There’s nowhere else like it, and this summer, the world will see why."
Designed as an event for all ages, ‘All At Sea’ promises to redefine summer festivals, merging music, wellness, family fun, and coastal culture — all afloat.
